One of the breakfast places that I was excited to go in Portland was The Waffles Window. Their waffles looked amazing, I thought it is such a cute concept to get them over the window. To our surprise, when we got there, the window was closed. I was so sad, until we realized that they are actually in full operation in the inside. So, the “window-serve takeaway joint” was inside the cafe, which worked out great for us. It was nice to have a table seating. Inside the cafe was very large, with lots of tables and chairs. They offer sweet & savory Belgian-style waffles. I love Liege waffles, and excited to see how they do it with Portland Twist. Their menu was big, there is something for everyone. We decided to order one sweet, and one savory kind. We got Seasonal Special item, Rose City made with Strawberries, Rose Cream, Rhubarb Sauce, and Whipped Cream. It was super beautiful, the tart rhubarb sauce went great with the sweet strawberries and whipped cream. The waffle was amazing and fluffy, super tasty! For the savory kind, we went with Three B’s. It is made with Thick Cut Pepper Bacon, Brie Cheese, and Fresh Basil, service with House Recipe Peach Jam. It was delicious! The combination of pepper bacon and brie was amazing, and basil added that extra flavor to bring them all together. Delicious! We had a really nice breakfast here. We loved the waffles we ordered, we enjoyed every bite. I wish if we could try so many more!

Great selection of both savory and sweet waffles. I got the vegetarian Farm Fusion waffle which was delicious and just the right balance between heavy and light to get the day started and my wife had the Banana Nutella waffle which was excellent with ripe and sweet bananas. We were able to eat inside which was great because it was a little drizzly that morning. Awesome place for a casual breakfast.

Stopped by after watching a movie at the Baghdad Theater. Great waffles! I enjoyed the Strawberry, Nutella waffle while my partner went savory with the Triple B.

Staff are super kind and you go up to the front to get your food yourself! Prices are pretty ok and the food tastes amazing! I got the strawberry Nutella waffles and they were crispy and soft. It is a bit sweet for breakfast but there are also takeout boxes for to go. Only thing is it might be hard to find parking, but worth a try!

I had the chicken and waffles and the Strawberry Nutella waffles here. In both cases, the waffles are awesome! Very soft and flavorful, and able to absorb the maple syrup well. The fried chicken that came with the waffles were very good quality, being very juicy with just the right amount of breading to give it a crunch. The only thing I thought could maybe use improvement was the latte, which didn't really gave a pronounced taste to me. But overall, this is one of the better Brunch places I've had in Portland, so I'd be happy to go again.

We will now make this a dedicated stop every time we set foot into Portland! The chicken and waffles were amazing, the service was incredible, the vibes were immaculate. Cannot wait to come back and eat here again!

This was better than expected. We got the Spicy bacon and jalapeno waffles, the strawberry and lemon curd, and the 3 B's, and finished everything. Size was smaller than we thought (we were thinking Belgium waffles) but it was all super filling. Flavors complemented each other so well. Completely satisfied and will absolutely be coming back when in town.
